Student Lounge Volunteer Sign-up
LMS Parents and Guardians,
We need your help! We are in need of adult volunteers to have a presence in the student lounge area. The student lounge is a fun place students may go during lunch for the price of five Tiger Tickets. They receive these tickets as a reward system to encourage positive behaviors while at school. They may also visit the student lounge periodically if they have all assignments completed and/or if they have received the recognition of Terrific Tiger for the week.
The students who have visited the lounge this year are excited about the opportunity and want to come back. We are seeing students who are wiping down tables without being asked and exhibiting other positive behaviors throughout the classrooms and cafeteria in order to receive the Tiger Tickets so they can visit the lounge. But this is where we need YOUR HELP!
We have 30-35 kids every day in the student lounge and we are in need of coverage in order for the students to be monitored while in the lounge. We are inviting you to volunteer 45 minutes to 1.5 hours at lunchtime to come in and hang out in the student lounge. We want to keep this positive reward going as many days a week as we can but we cannot do this alone.
Please consider giving your time during lunch and come to LMS and support our students in their positive behaviors. You must have a background check on file before coming into the school during the school day.
Thank you for your time!
LMS Food Rescue pick up and deliver to Caring Center
We need volunteers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when school is in session. We rescue food that the students do not eat from going into the trash. You would pick up the food in our coolers from the front office and take it to the Caring Center in Lebanon. Everything is weighed there, unloaded from the coolers and then you bring the coolers back into the front office at Lebanon Middle School. The Caring Center distributes the food to people in need. The Caring Center is located at 1230 Ransdell Ct. in Lebanon. Easy-peasy!
We sent 9,550 items to the Caring Center during the 2017-2018 school year. WOW!
Food is ready on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for you to take at 12:45.
