- For children at least two and a half years of age, but not yet age-eligible for kindergarten, contact the Joint Services office at 765-483-3090 to discuss your concerns and start the referral process.
- For students who are eligible for kindergarten through age 21, contact your child’s teacher, school counselor, or building administrator to discuss your concerns. If your child is not enrolled in public school, you should contact the counselor or building administrator in the building your child would attend if enrolled.
After a request for a special education evaluation is made, the multi-disciplinary team will review your child’s information and performance. The school will respond within 10 instructional days and provide an explanation of the process. You will be provided a copy of Procedural Safeguards.
